Autumn Campaign Against Pavement Parking

Cambridge Living Streets’ Autumn campaign supports National Living Street’s goal to get a nation-wide ban on pavement parking, which is dangerous for pedestrians, especially in towns with narrow streets and pavements.

Motor vehicles pavement-park for their own convenience, clutters and shrinks pedestrian space and breaks up pavements, creating walking hazards. With higher risk, school children are more likely to be driven to school, and older or disabled people using walking aids/wheels are deterred from going out.
